Think critically and creatively

Thinking critically is something you do everyday without realizing it. Making a list of things that need to get done and what would be the best way to accomplish it effectively. Thinking critically helps you to accomplish that "list" and creatively find a resole to best overcome it. I come into contact with some problems on a day to day basis where things do not want to go smoothly for me. That is how critical thinking comes into play to help me troubleshoot some of the obstacles I ran into, solving my problem and coming up with a new solution.
During a procedure an instrument could break or drop and it is the only one you have, it is the Surgical Technologists job to think, "what could the surgeon use to do that same job and how can I make that happen". Thinking critically and creatively helps you to be a Surgical Technologist with being able to quickly adapt to the situation. It is imperative for a Surgical Technologist to be able to quickly adjust and react to change in the ever changing world of surgery.
This artifact is an optional evaluator feedback form I received stating I have very good anticipating skills. I always have an instrument in my hand ready to go anticipating that the surgeon will need that based on where he/she is at during the procedure. I am quick to adjust if there is a change.
